We are a small team consisting of the owner, dedicated esthetician Maria Luisa Rodriguez, and our experienced lash extension specialist Samantha Cruz who also specializes in skin, health and fitness. At our establishment, we place a strong emphasis on corrective skincare treatments, specifically tailored for diverse skin tones. Originally from the vibrant island of Puerto Rico, my leap to the United States in 2001 marked the beginning of an incredible transformation. Fast forward to 2007, life threw me a curveball at 14 with a car accident that left me with a shattered left cheekbone and 107 stitches on my face. It was a trial that tested every ounce of my strength, yet unbeknownst to me, it sparked the flames of my passion for skincare.
As a high school freshman, this experience lit a fire within me—a desire not just to heal my own skin but to empower others on their unique skincare journeys.
Now, here's where the plot thickens. It wasn't until my later years, at 24, after the profound loss of my mother, that I took a leap of faith and decided to embark on the entrepreneurial adventure of starting Malú Esthetics. Picture this: I opened my business right at the beginning of the COVID pandemic, unsure of how I'd navigate the challenges. Starting from scratch amid a global crisis, I not only survived but thrived.

Hello, I'm Samantha, and I'm excited to share my journey in the beauty and skincare world. At 32, I'm balancing the SKIN life while working as a health coach alongside my fiancé. Together, we're raising three inspiring daughters with dreams of becoming future entrepreneurs.
My beauty venture started in 2005 with braiding hair, and it evolved into a love for makeup in 2010. Unbeknownst to many, I was born with a rare skin condition, leading me to use makeup as a shield. However, in July 2020, a transformative facial at Malu Esthetics shifted my perspective. Embracing imperfections, I fell in love with my skin, prompting me to swap heavy foundations for lighter alternatives.
In January 2022, I proudly graduated as a licensed Esthetician from Rizzieri Aveda School. My journey isn't just about mastering skincare procedures but making an emotional impact. Joining Malu Esthetics, a team built on honesty and genuine love, is an honor.
My passion for health and wellness extends to skin, fitness, and nutrition. I'm eager to use this expertise to help clients achieve outstanding results, changing lives one regimen at a time.
